Refund Policy
At Painters with Passion, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or partial refunds may be considered.

1. Deposits Are Non-Refundable
All deposits paid to secure a booking are non-refundable, unless we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to circumstances on our side.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee will be charged, but the deposit remains non-refundable.

Less than 48 hours’ notice: You may be charged up to 30% of the total quote to cover time, travel, and material preparation.

On-site cancellation (same day): The full deposit will be retained, and additional charges may apply depending on travel or labour already incurred.

3. Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel or postpone due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. severe weather, equipment failure), you will be offered the choice of:

A new date for the service, or
-
A full refund of your deposit if rescheduling is not possible.

4. Refunds After Work Has Started
Once work has begun, refunds will only be considered in cases where:

There is a proven failure to meet agreed specifications, and
-
We have been given an opportunity to correct or complete the work.
In such cases, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion based on the portion of work completed.

5. Product Refunds
We do not offer refunds on paint or materials that have already been opened, mixed, tinted, or used, unless they are found to be faulty and are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
6. Quality Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the finished work:

You must notify us in writing within 5 days of project completion.

We will assess the issue and, if warranted, offer a correction or partial refund.
Refunds will not be issued for work that meets industry standards but may not match subjective preferences.
